Cut from a 100% recycled nylon, the Patagonia Baggies Pants are cut to a slim fit that’s been treated with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish for quick-drying times with over 50 UPF sun protection. The regular rise gives generous room in the thighs and seat, which has been gusseted for generous room for movement. Their fit has been secured through elastication across the waist and cuffs, and the waist is further adjustable through an internal drawstring. Vertical sidepockets at both side seams have a mesh lining to reduce drag in the water, with button fastened welt pockets at the rear perfect for storing keys. Additionally, reinforced stitching ensures that the brand’s renowned durability is ensured through both wear and washes. The trousers are dressed in an allover black, with a contrasting woven Patagonia patch above the rear pocket.
Patagonia was founded in 1973, promoting sustainability throughout all of their products without impacting on the quality. Their unique method of producing recycled nylon was developed by inhouse chemists around five years ago; through using it they in turn prolong landfill life and reduce toxic emissions from incinerators.
